Holiday Dates & Diary
Davey Day Care is open for 51 weeks of the year, shutting down over the Christmas period for 5 working days plus Bank holidays (You are not charged for the 5 closure dates). These dates vary from year to year and they are not always in blocks of full weeks.
Davey Day Care is closed on all public bank holidays and are chargeable.
Term Time Dates
At DDC we offer Term Time only contracts for those families who are able to have the school holidays off work or are able to cover childcare by other means.
We follow the Northampton county councils term dates calendar which also includes the teacher training dates. If you need to book your child in for any teacher training dates please email daveydaycare@yahoo.co.uk and we will check availability.

Events
Throughout the year we hold many fundraising days for a number of charities, like mufti days and fancy dress. These dates will be sent to parents and carers via email or our closed Facebook page when they are coming up. Along with these days we sometimes hold themed days just for a bit of fun for the children, an example of these are cinema days, pyjama days and when the weather is nice we sometimes get the slip and slide out!
For our preschoolers we hold a graduation ceremony every year, where we celebrate their achievements and say our goodbyes as they start their new journey to big school. We invite the parents of the children graduating to the ceremony so they can be a part of the emotional celebration!
At Davey Day Care we love to celebrate yearly events with the children and with their parents and families too. We hold a yearly summer BBQ where we provide food, set up different games and provide fun for all the family!
In the lead up to Christmas, one evening we hold our annual Christmas carol service in our Farm House garden. The garden is lit up in pretty Christmas lights and the whole family is welcome to wrap up warm for a sing song, mince pie and cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate!
